Marina Gibson runs various guided fishing courses from individual fishing instruction to corporate fishing days on the River Test. Based in Yorkshire but regularly travels the UK and abroad to give fishing tuition.
Northern Fishing School
Marina Gibson runs The Northern Fishing School, based at Swinton Estate. Offering a wide range of fly fishing activities whether you’re a beginner, seasoned angler or a business looking for a corporate day out. We cater for all ages, including sessions for school children; which are great fun.
Corporate fishing days
Top quality, corporate fishing days on the River Test. Suitable for all levels. Fishing guides will be there to help
Coffees, teas and refreshments are served at breakfast upon arrival. Sit down lunch cooked on the riverbank by the team. Relax and enjoy a day’s fishing with colleagues and clients.
Cancer & Pisces
The Cancer and Pisces Club is a club for people living with cancer, and their carers to allow them to benefit from the well-documented therapy of fishing, co-founded by Marina Gibson and author and Cancer survivor Mick May.
Fieldcraft app
Marina has recently launched her online fly fishing beginners’ course on the Fieldcraft App which is designed for your mobile or tablet device so you can access the classes on and offline to give you advice 24/7 and off-the-grid.
