Marina Gibson runs The Northern Fishing School, based at Swinton Estate. Offering a wide range of fly fishing activities whether you’re a beginner, seasoned angler or a business looking for a corporate day out. We cater for all ages, including sessions for school children; which are great fun.

Guided fishing

Fishing tuition and bespoke guided fishing trips with Marina Gibson both in the UK and abroad. Marina is based in North Yorkshire.

Marina loves to give fishing advice whether you are a beginner or not. Tailor made fishing days and trips depending on country, budget, species, travel, service etc.

Casting in the park

Free 'casting in the park' sessions, the perfect introduction to fishing.  Get away from the office for your lunch break, learn how to cast on dry land, meet new friends and find out more about the sport.

Orvis supply the fishing equipment for the sessions in London and Harrogate.

Top quality, corporate fishing days on the River Test. Suitable for all levels. Fishing guides will be there to help

Coffees, teas and refreshments are served at breakfast upon arrival. Sit down lunch cooked on the riverbank by the team. Relax and enjoy a day's fishing with colleagues and clients.
